Pro Tools is the standard in professional recording studios, post-production facilities, and mastering suites — environments where accuracy and reliability are non-negotiable. SYQEL meets that standard by operating entirely outside Pro Tools: it reads the audio output from your interface and reacts to it in real time, with no dependency on Pro Tools' session format, HDX hardware, or AAX plugin ecosystem. That means it adds value without introducing any variable into the Pro Tools signal chain that engineers and producers have worked carefully to control.
How SYQEL works with Pro Tools
No AAX plugin, no session change
SYQEL is a standalone app. It reads your Pro Tools output at the system or interface level and starts reacting immediately — nothing is added to the session.
Reactive output during playback and review
Play back a mix, a stem bounce, or a vocal session and SYQEL's FFT engine drives a live visual response to the energy and transient content.
Capture release promo directly
Play a finished Pro Tools mixdown export through any player alongside SYQEL and record the reactive visual output for social media release content.
Zero interference with your session
SYQEL reads audio at the output stage and adds nothing to the Pro Tools chain. The session integrity that studio engineers require is fully preserved.
Visual dynamics during mix review
A reactive visual running during client mix playback gives the room a shared reference for energy and arrangement that meters alone do not communicate.
Release content from any export
Play a Pro Tools bounce alongside SYQEL and record a reactive video — promo content for streaming platforms, Reels, and Shorts without video editing.
Custom visual identity per project
AI shader generation means each release can have a distinct visual style described in plain language and built in seconds.
What's in SYQEL Desktop
The parts DJs use every night — each one documented, none of them extra software.
Works offline
Visuals, playlists, logos and hotkeys live on your machine. No internet at the venue, no problem — the show runs exactly the same. Sign in on another machine and your setup follows you.
Five visual feeds
Worlds, shaders, scenes, Milkdrop and image visuals — hundreds of looks in one library, every one of them reacting to the music in real time.
Control with MIDI or keyboard
Space for the next visual, Enter to hold one for the drop, Backspace to go back. Put any control, visual or playlist on a key or a pad with Learn Key and Learn MIDI — on every plan.
Broadcast and NDI
Press B for a clean output window to capture in OBS, or send the visuals over your network with NDI into OBS, vMix or Resolume — Spout too, on Windows.
Create visuals with AI
Describe a look — "neon hexagon tunnel that pulses with the bass" — and get a brand-new audio-reactive shader, or generate an image and let the AI animate it. Adjust it for free, keep what you make.
Record four formats at once
Press R and SYQEL saves four videos in one go — 16:9, 1:1, 9:16 and 4:5 — with your audio in them, straight into a SYQEL folder. One for every platform, nothing to capture or convert.

Frequently asked questions
Does SYQEL work with HDX hardware and Pro Tools | Ultimate?
SYQEL reads from your system or interface output regardless of the underlying hardware. Whether you are running HDX, Native, or a simple USB interface, SYQEL picks up the audio at the output stage.
Can I use SYQEL in a mastering session without affecting the Pro Tools chain?
Yes. SYQEL is completely external to Pro Tools. You can run it as a reference visual during mastering without inserting anything into the signal chain or changing the session file.
Can artists use SYQEL to create social content from their Pro Tools recordings?
Absolutely. Play a finished mix through Pro Tools or an export through any media player, run SYQEL alongside it, and record the reactive output as a video for Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.
