Studio One has grown a dedicated following of producers who appreciate its workflow efficiency — the drag-and-drop arrangement, integrated mastering in Project pages, and a release pipeline that goes from session to distribution without leaving the app. SYQEL fits naturally at the end of that pipeline: when a track is ready to release, it turns the finished audio into reactive visual content that gives the release a presence on social feeds that audio alone cannot achieve. And during the sessions that lead there, it provides a live visual reference to the energy shape of a mix.
How SYQEL works with Studio One
Run SYQEL alongside Studio One
No extensions, no changes to Studio One preferences. SYQEL is a separate app that picks up your audio output device while Studio One plays back any project.
Reactive engine activates on playback
SYQEL's FFT analysis starts the moment audio flows — beat, energy, and frequency drive the visual output in real time.
Visualize a mix or export release content
Use it as a live reference during production, or play a Studio One export alongside SYQEL and record the reactive output for Reels, TikTok, or YouTube.
Energy feedback during production
A live visual running alongside a Studio One session reveals build, peak, and drop dynamics that reinforce what the meters tell you.
From Project page to promo video
Studio One takes you from session to mastered track; SYQEL takes the mastered track to reactive release video — no extra software in between.
AI visual creation for each release
Describe the sonic character of a project and SYQEL generates a bespoke audio-reactive shader that gives each release its own visual identity.
Stream and stage output
Output via Spout, Mac Screen Share, or NDI into OBS or Resolume for producers who perform or stream their music live.
What's in SYQEL Desktop
The parts DJs use every night — each one documented, none of them extra software.
Works offline
Visuals, playlists, logos and hotkeys live on your machine. No internet at the venue, no problem — the show runs exactly the same. Sign in on another machine and your setup follows you.
Five visual feeds
Worlds, shaders, scenes, Milkdrop and image visuals — hundreds of looks in one library, every one of them reacting to the music in real time.
Control with MIDI or keyboard
Space for the next visual, Enter to hold one for the drop, Backspace to go back. Put any control, visual or playlist on a key or a pad with Learn Key and Learn MIDI — on every plan.
Broadcast and NDI
Press B for a clean output window to capture in OBS, or send the visuals over your network with NDI into OBS, vMix or Resolume — Spout too, on Windows.
Create visuals with AI
Describe a look — "neon hexagon tunnel that pulses with the bass" — and get a brand-new audio-reactive shader, or generate an image and let the AI animate it. Adjust it for free, keep what you make.
Record four formats at once
Press R and SYQEL saves four videos in one go — 16:9, 1:1, 9:16 and 4:5 — with your audio in them, straight into a SYQEL folder. One for every platform, nothing to capture or convert.

Frequently asked questions
Can SYQEL receive audio from Studio One's native audio engine without a loopback device?
If Studio One is routing to your system output or an interface, SYQEL can read that device directly. For capturing internal routing on Windows, a virtual audio cable may be needed to create a loopback — a one-time setup.
Does SYQEL work on the same macOS machine as Studio One?
Yes. SYQEL is a native macOS app, and on Mac you can use BlackHole or Loopback to route Studio One's output to SYQEL without affecting your main monitoring output.
Can I produce release content before paying, or do I need the unlock?
The trial gives you full access to the visual library and reactive engine — enough to see your release content take shape, with the SYQEL watermark on it. The one-time unlock removes the watermark and adds custom branding, which is what most artists want on anything they publish. AI visuals come with AI credits.
